3-1-1 for Carry-ons

What is 3-1-1 for Carry-ons?
3-1-1 for Carry-ons is the system for packing liquids and gels in your carry-on luggage.
  • 3 ounce bottle or less (by volume)  inside a 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag
  • 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin
How you pack your carry-on can affect how long your security check takes.
