It'll take some time to heal and then I'll post some more pics, but so you can see the icky mess as of Friday (7/3/09). The AWESOME peeps over at Tattoo U 4 in Glassport, PA hooked it up BIG TIME! Rick is the guy that did this one and he did an amazing job.

On a more serious note...people are asking me if I'm crazy, they're poking fun, not understanding why I got the tattoo. So...here's why:
Growing up, Michael was the first music I ever HEARD. You can "listen" to music all day and never really hear it, ya know? Michael was the first artist who really made me fall head over kicks in love with music. Not just because of his message, not just because of that addicting beat...but everything he stood for.
You could tell he LOVED his music and really, truely believed in it. That made me fall even more in love with him as an artist and as an idol.
I remember watching his music videos or live performances, whatever it was at the time...growing up with my little brother and I honest to God thought he was magical. I thought, this was a gift from God...this guy could float...he somehow controlled the lights, the stage, the music by snapping his fingers or doing some sort of dance move that would make everything, everyone...follow his every move.
And in some way, I still believe all of that today. You could sit down and watch Michael for hours....pour everything he had into every single performance. Unfortunately there are people who will remember the "bad things" about Michael and not remember the remarkable and untouchable artist that he was and always will be. It's the reason I decided to get this tattoo and show my undying support and love for the one and only King of Pop, Michael Joseph Jackson! R.I.P. Michael, you are still loved.
