Alright so I've officially been in Pittsburgh for what almost fourmonths now? And I am JUST NOW writing my first blog? What kind of a loser am I?!! No seriously though, you'll learn I am the kind of person that would rather fake his way through it then admit he doesn't know how to do something, lol. I don't know why...I've always been like that. So when they told me that I'd have to go in to some web thing to update my section I was like "Yea, I've got it...consider it done"
....four moths later.....
hahaha. So I apologize, but I promise now that I've figured this thing out, I'll post a blog daily and keep you updated with what's gonna be on the show each day.
So let's talk about how much I LOVE Pittsburgh. I've been alllllll over the country, and I must say this is one of my favorite places I've been yet. The people here are what makes it great...you all are sooooo inviting and soooo incredibly friendly. Until the Steelers play, and then....get outta the effin way, hahaha. I love it though, it's addicting! I had Primanti's compliments of Flick the first week I was here, AWESOME! I'm not even a coleslaw fan, but sooooo goood!
I will say my only complaint so far is that I'm really not happy with the place I'm living in so if anyone knows of any good apartments, townhomes, houses...whatever, email me 'cause I HAVE GOT TO get out of this place. It's actually not a bad place, but for the money I'm paying it's really not worth it. Plus, I've got a 2 year old English Bulldog and she needs a yard to run around and play in...I feel sooooo bad for her :-(
I will be honest though, I'm kinda freakin' out about the winter here. I've never lived anywhere that had a really bad snow accumulation. Even when I was in Seattle we only had like three inches at the most and the entire city shut down. Other than that I've spent most of my life in the south, North Carolina, Virginia Beach...all around there...so everyone at the station is freakin' me out...telling me I need to buy an automatic car starter to heat it up...don't park on the road....leave two hours early for work....what the crap!?!?!? I'm gonna need a driver, lol...I can't handle that!
So I LOVE to ask this question whenever I move to a different city and get to experience all the professional sports each place has to offer. What do you think makes Steelers fans soooo different and better than any other? coop@b94.com email me, I seriously wanna know. It's always interesting to hear what people have to say.
I will admit though, the Steeler fans have this consuming passion for their team you can't help but want to get sucked into it. I'm excited to pay 8 billion dollars to go see a game, hahahahah...can't wait!
